Immersive mentoring
From April 2020 to the end of the year, I had the fortune of mentoring Anna and David on their film #ToMissTheEnding through the Creative England Ideate mentoring programme.
The team explored transforming their theatrical digital film to be experienced remotely and on virtual platforms, and won BFI’s Best XR / Immersive Art Award in October 2020 and will be screening their work at Sundance 2021
Congratulations team on your perseverance and determination through the pandemic!!

As part of London College of Communication Residency programme, their brief was:

The team are looking to develop this into a longer form film and develop the project
I encourage filmmakers/non-filmmakers into making and creating - following your passion is scary, but if you leap the net will appear!
Delighted to talk to the students at Harrow and Uxbridge College, for their programme with Working Knowledge, and discuss opportunities within the arts and design industry - and to share what shape my journey into filmmaking has taken.
The idea was to give students a real insight into the world of work and specifically what would be required of them after leaving college and entering the workplace for the first time.
