Delighted that The Right Choice VR Film was nominated and voted by the public to win this Lovie Award for Online Video 2019.
‘The mission of The Lovie Awards is to recognise the unique and resonant nature of the European Internet community – from Europe’s top web and creative networks and content publishers, to cultural and political organisations and individual creators.
The Lovie Awards is the most prestigious, and the only, truly pan-European awards honouring online excellence.

In May 2019, I worked with Chris Lee Ball of Constellation AI, and created 7 Days with AI - a short documentary. I spent a week with the tech start up’s AI app. The idea was to live with the app and make decisions in my normal everyday life based on the instructions the app directed me to do. I presented my discoveries and the documentary with Chris at the D&AD Festival at the Old Truman Brewery, summer 2019 in an interactive workshop.
The World Economic Forum 2019 Annual Meeting launched a new Humanitarian Investing Initiative, it was an honour to discover that our film The Right Choice VR film was screened at the global summit.
Great to see The Right Choice screened at this historic festival - in the cultural cradle of Europe!

“Some projects may have smaller budgets, however, that doesn’t stop them from making a significant social impact on the world around them.
The VR Awards social impact award is given to companies or individuals that produce and execute either an experience, product and or service which has resulted in positively impacting a cause for social good.”
It was brilliant to be invited to speak about my VR filmmaking at WHEXT Festival, Sao Paulo Brazil with The London Film Academy.
A bit about the festival –
“WHEXT epitomises an open debate about the future of advertising production and in-depth examination of the future of the industry, while engaging, educating and apprising professionals about the best market practices and guidelines through panels, exhibits, partnerships, networking and substantial hands-on content.
It is a festival of transformation where “utility” is the word of the day, and collaboration is a prerequisite; where having the courage and voracity to learn is essential in order to experiment with new ideas, benchmarks and formats, ultimately echoing the importance of creativity in the search for excellence in advertising production.”
